The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 goals and 169 targets adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.

Each goal has specific targets to be achieved by 2030, and they are all interconnected and mutually reinforcing. The SDGs provide a framework for countries, businesses, and individuals to work together to achieve a sustainable future for all.
