Consumerism and resources
Consumerism and resources
This activity helps students consider the lifecycle of a product and the implications of over consumption for people, peace, planet, prosperity, and partnership. It can be used as a “stand alone” activity or as part of a wider scheme of learning looking at child labour, human rights, and sustainable living.
For young entrepreneurs it provides a stimulus to ask questions about resources, supply and demand, values, profit, marketing and “greenwashing” – What is the story behind your mobile phone, electric car or latest gadget? Download the teaching and learning activity here. |
